Farming For Our Future at Pond Hill Farm seeks to dedicate its efforts to helping people improve their lives and communities through gardening, and farm based education. Based in Harbor Springs, Michigan, we will work with neighborhoods, schools, community groups, and families to develop and sustain gardens and improve health and self-sufficiency by educating people in the art of local, sustainable farm and gardening educational experiences. We build on the strengths of individuals and the community to bring the benefits of gardens, healthy food, and sustainable communities to all. We will also establish environmental programs that stress the unique habitats and ecosystems found in Northern Michigan.
Mission
To foster people’s connection to what they eat, where it is grown
and how their choices affect their personal health and the health of
their community and planet.
